Any mail client can be used to access your mail account. It has to be configured according to:

  • Incoming mail:
    • protocol: IMAP (or POP3) with SSL
    • server: imap.isr.ist.utl.pt
    • port: 993 (or 995 for POP3)
    • authentication: (plain) password
  • outgoing mail:
    • protocol: SMTP with SSL
    • server: smtp.isr.ist.utl.pt
    • (backup server: omni.isr.ist.utl.pt)
    • port: 465
    • authentication: (plain) password
