How to edit SVN configuration files

This information is only relevant for the ones owning svn repositories on svn.isr.ist.utl.pt server. To ask for a new repository, please send the following information to sysadmin(AT)isr.ist.utl.pt:

  • repository name
  • list of (user,password) pairs

The repository URL will be svn://svn.isr.ist.utl.pt/repos where repos is the requested name of the repository.

To be able to manage the repository configuration files (e.g., passwd file), you need to request WebDAV access. To do so, send me an email stating:

  • repository name you own
  • username and password (or I can use the one on the repository passwd file)

Then, you'll be able to mount the configuration directory using WebDAV. The URL will be http://svn.isr.ist.utl.pt/repos/conf where repos is the name of your repository.

NOTE: for Windows users, please use http://svn.isr.ist.utl.pt:80/repos/conf as otherwise it won't work.
